The quantity of substituted numbers affects the accuracy of the calltracking.
How to define the quantity of substitution numbers
As the attendance of your website grows, you need to increase the quantity of substituted numbers to maintain the accuracy of the calltracking.
Via Roistat, when the calltracking is not engaged
If the calltracking is not yet engaged, we recommend to use the data about the number of visits in the Roistat project:
(The number of visits during the last 72 hours) / 3 / 100.
Fractional number should be round up.
Example: during the last 72 numbers there were 3128 visits in your project. Then, you need 11 phone numbers for calltracking (3128 / 3 /100 = 10.43 = 11).
Via Roistat, when the calltracking is enabled
If the cakktracking is enabled, we recommend you to use the data about the accuracy of the scenario.
- Open the Calltracking → Scenario in your Roistat project.
You will see the list of scenarios. Click the ? button in near the needed scenario in the Accuracy column. You will see the information about the accuracy of the scenario and about the recommended quantity of substitution addresses you should add to the scenario.
The accuracy of the scenario shows how well the substitution numbers are given to your website visitors. If there are too many visitors on your website, there are not enough substitution numbers, and the accuracy of the calltracking decreases. To maintain the accuracy of the calltracking, you should buy additional numbers.
Via other web-analytics systems
If you use other web-analytics system, check the number of visits by hours. The maximum number of visits per hour will be the quantity of substituted numbers you need to add.
Example: if there are 10 visits per hour on your website, but at 01:00 there were 19 visits, you should add 19 numbers for the maxumum accuracy.
